Access Engineering

Access Engineering is a free student run hands-on engineering enrichment program at the University of Pennsylvania for talented Philadelphia high school students. Engineering Summer Academy at Penn (ESAP)

ESAP (Engineering Summer Academy at Penn) is a 3 week summer camp for high school students in various Engineering fields. Our lab is excited to regularly host the Biotech program. More information can be found at https://esap.seas.upenn.edu/

Girls in Engineering, Math, and Science (GEMS)

GEMS (Girls in Engineering, Math, and Science) is a week long summer camp for girls in middle school. Our lab enjoys hosting GEMS every year by providing resources and lab modules for the program. More information can be found at https://gems.seas.upenn.edu/

Penn Adapt

Penn Adapt seeks to design low-cost medical tools to help those in need. More information can be found at their website: http://www.pennadapt.net.

Penn iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) Competition

The Penn iGEM team was founded in 2012 by Michael Magaraci (BE & Wh 2013, GrBE 2020) and Avin Veerakumar (BE & Wh 2013) and won the national competition in 2013. Since then, iGEM's projects have won competitions and published papers for their work. Our lab is honored to be able to host the team. For more information, please reach out to the Lab Staff.

Pre-Freshman Program (PFP)
